Ken heads the executive staff as the President and CEO at Pro-Tech Marine. You can usually find him at the dealership, mainly because he is a workaholic. He believes in a hands on approach to operating a business and enjoys working face to face with our customers to insure that their boating needs are met to the best of our abilities. Ken believes that we should cultivate a friendly and casual atmosphere at Pro-Tech Marine and is always reminding our staff that we are in the leisure business and folks spending their hard earned money trying to relax and play, don't really want to be around unfriendly people in a bad mood.

One of his primary objectives is to keep Pro-Tech Marine moving forward, which he accomplishes by continually developing and implementing policies, procedures and standards that advance our corporate mission of promoting growth while operating a profitable yet fair and ethical organization. Ken oversees the administrative operations and is constantly adjusting our business model and strategies to insure profitability through efficient quality service while striving to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction possible. He works closely with the various manufacturers we represent to secure the best pricing structure for our customers. He is always friendly and available to all customers, so feel free to stop by and say hi.

Eddy is a member of the executive staff and currently holds the position of Vice President at Pro-Tech Marine. Eddy has an extensive background in the marine business that began all the way back in 1968 when he first entered the workforce as a teenager in the family owned marine dealership. Eddy is a master certified automotive and marine technician and through the years he has served in just about every position in both an automotive or marine type of dealership setting.

Eddy's responsibilities involve everything from playing an active row in the daily operations to involvement in the long term planing for the future and direction of Pro-Tech Marine. Eddy was raised to believe in a strong work ethic and like Ken he also believes in a hands on approach to operating a business. He understands that one of his primary responsibilities is to oversees every aspect of our service department in an attempt to insure that every job that comes through the door is completed correctly and in an efficient and timely manner. So, folks, he is the guy behind the scenes around here that actually makes sure everything really gets done while adhering to our strict corporate standards. As an executive team member, he has the authority needed to insure that our staff have the proper tools, correct training, understand the policies & procedures required to meet our customers expectations while following our corporate objectives. Eddy is always friendly, courteous
and willing to help, so feel free to stop by shake his hand and say hello!

Meet Don Armes, Don has served in multiple capacities at Pro-Tech Marine over the years his experience runs the entire gambet from service manager to technician to sales to rigging, detailing, etc... you name it Don has probably done it at one time or another. Don is a master technician with over a half century of work experience in both the automotive and marine industries. Over the years Don has actually held just about every position at several different auto and marine dealerships throughout several states.

Don currently holds the title of crew chief or "THE PIT BOSS" as the rest of the crew like to call him. You might have guessed it by now , but yes folks Don is a shade over 75 years young, yet he is still in great shape, his health is good and he loves to keep busy. Don't let that number fool you, because Don prides himself in still being able to work right along side the younger staff members and he can do it too! We are proud to continue to have Don as a member of our crew at Pro-Tech Marine
.

We put this up just fro grins & giggles, but this is a naval picture of Don from around 1952. He would probably have a fit if he knew we put this up on the web site. Don proudly served our country by joining the Navy and serving in active duty from early 1950's until his honorable discharge in April 1956.  He then continued to serve our country on a smaller scale by joining the Navy Reserve and staying active duty until the 1960's. This picture was taken while he was serving on board a destroyer named the USS Wiltsie ( DD-716 ) during the Korean Conflict. You have probably guessed it by now, Don is LeAnn Bruce's father, which of course also makes him our President & CEO's father-in-law! We are very happy that he is still healthy and active in our business. If you see Don running around the dealership, shake his hand and say Hello!

Gerald worked for and retired from the U S Government as a certified welder, He worked at a Honda marine dealership, a marina, as well as multiple other marine and or service related facilities, including being a partner in his own marine business for a period. Gerald takes great pride in doing the job correctly the first time and he is always eager to help. Stop by and meet John during your visit to Rough River Lake.
Meet Jason Bruce, he is rapidly approaching that dreaded thirty years old mark and even at this young age he has already held multiple positions at Pro-Tech Marine encompassing everything from working in the cleanup & detailing department to running the service or sales counters to working as a marine service technician. Jason just came back home last Fall after living the past few years at the Naval base in Norfolk Virginia. His current duties consist of IT developer for Pro-Tech Marine and as such, he is in charge of our dealerships electronic network system and keeping all of the computer systems and programs updated and operational. He is in also in charge of the development, monitoring and updating of our multiple web sites including our online parts & accessories store. But sometimes you'll still find him out in the service department repairing boats, running the sales & service counter, helping customers with whatever, launching or pulling boats from the lake.....or maybe just out grabbing lunch for the rest of the staff!
Meet LeAnn Bruce, although she has a very full schedule with her full time career working for the U S Government, she still finds the time to serve in the capacity of our marketing director designing our marketing materials. Myrna is Eddy's sister and so she has also been around the auto and/or marine dealership setting most of her life. Like the rest of us, she also serves in multiple capacities at Pro-Tech Marine. You might find her doing anything from answering the phones, to rigging on a boat, or cleaning the offices, helping in the service department, working the sales & service counter, to helping a customer in the showroom. She likes to stay busy, so when she can't find anything else to do, then you'll find her busy cleaning something. She is always friendly and happy to help our customers with their boating needs, so feel free to ask her for assistance. We are proud to have her as part of our Pro-Tech Marine Family!
Meet Brenda Hinton, she has been married to Eddy for over thirty years now and has also been instrumental in the planning, developmental and growth stages of Pro-Tech Marine. Although she maintains a full time career at the local school, she helps us out at the dealership and boat shows every chance she gets. She has been using all of her spare time over the last few years to help with her children and ever growing number of grandchildren. Brenda & Eddy are now the very proud grandparents of five happy & healthy grandchildren. They are a close family and believe in playing an active row in the lives of their children and grand children and devote every spare minute to their continued happiness and success. As most of you know, that can be a full time job in it's self. Brenda is always happy and friendly, so if you see her running around the dealership or at one of the many boat shows we attend then take a few minutes to say hello.
